Considerations Regarding Archiving and Records Management Within Activities of European Union’s Institutions. This paper aims to highlight the importance of information in EU’s activities, regardless of the medium on which they are made. During their lifecycle, since creation/receiving until disposal or permanent preservation, records are passing through successive appraisals, reaching at the end that those with historical importance to be transferred for permanent preservation as archives and the others, to be removed. This study describes all these successive stages in records life on the pursuit of becoming archives.
