About the Journal

Studia Universitatis Babes-Bolyai Oeconomica is published three times a year (April, August, December) and focuses on theoretical and applied research in economics and business.

 

Aims and Scope

This journal is an official publication of the Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj Napoca, and an international journal publishing research of general interest in a broad range of economic and business disciplines, including:

- macro- and microeconomics
- economic policy
- international and public economics
- urban, rural and regional economics
- finance and banking
- accounting and audit
- marketing
- management and business administration
- statistics, econometrics, and other quantitative methods
- mathematics, game and decision theories

Rejection Rate

  • 40%

The scope of research approaches includes theoretical, empirical and experimental work.

The journal is edited by an international board of editors, which ensures access to an international pool of referees and guarantees a high standard of contributions. The journal maintains a balance between theoretical and empirical work.

The review process is a "double-blind" one, in which the author does not know who is reviewing the article, and the reviewer does not know who has written the article.

 

Open Access

All articles published in Studia UBB Oeconomica are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download and share. 

Studia UBB Oeconomica does not charge authors any kind of publication fees or article processing charges.

Articles are published under the terms of a Creative Commons license which permits, without charge, use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

 

Plagiarism Policy

The editorial board is participating in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users in order to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Similarity Check is a medium that allows for comprehensive manuscripts screening, aimed to eliminate plagiarism and provide a high standard and quality peer-review process.

 

Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement

The Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement aligns with the recommendations of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics): Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and the Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers.
