About the Journal
Studia Universitatis Babes-Bolyai Theologia Orthodoxa Journal (SUBBTO) is an open access, peer-review, bi-annual academic journal edited by Faculty of Orthodox Theology, Babes-Bolyai University (Cluj-Napoca, Romania).
Aims and Scope
SUBBTO publishes articles and reviews in the field of Orthodox Theology and is open to any other contribution which includes a reference to theology, especially in the field of philosophy, history or philology.
The structure of the journal is as follows: Articles, books and reviews are grouped by subject area.
Starting with 2016 all articles are published only in English.
The journal covers the main theological fields (biblical theology, dogmatic theology, moral theology, liturgics, patrology, ethics, catechesis, Christian art, philosophy of religion, theology and philosophy/phenomenology, ecclesiastical history, etc.) but also interdisciplinary studies.
Open Access Policy
Starting with number 1 (2015), SUBBTO issues have the status of "Fully Open Access".
As an Open Access journal, SUBBTO does not charge readers or their institutions for access (read, download, copy, distribute, print for research use, search, or linkto the full texts of articles).
The journal does not charge authors any kind of publication fees or article processing charges.
Articles are published under the terms of a Creative Commons license which permits, without charge, use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement:
The Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement aligns with the recommendations of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics): Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and the Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
