Abstract

The Human Trafficking in the Spanish and International Legislation - Doctrine and Jurisprudence. The present research is a meditation on the human trafficking, a serious infringement and a flagrant breach of the human rights. The European Directive and the Spanish legislative framework provide uniform common rules for the establishment of the infringement of human trafficking and for the punishment of their authors. The human trafficking is an international billion dollar industry and the second most profitable industry after the drug industry. In Europe, over a half of the victims of human trafficking are exploited for sexual purposes.
