Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript represents original work. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • All authors confirm this manuscript is devoid of plagiarism of any form (i.e., direct plagiarism, self-plagiarism, mosaic plagiarism, or accidental plagiarism) with respect to ideas, data, words, graphic materials or other forms of communication and understand that this manuscript will be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin anti-plagiarism software.
  • All authors have seen and approved the manuscript being submitted. Common agreement has been reached before submission. The corresponding author is responsible for the submission, on behalf of all co-authors. No additional authors might be added post submission, unless editors receive detailed explanation.
  • The submission files are prepared for upload: the manuscript (in Microsoft Word file format) and the declarations file.
  • The text is written in English and adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

STUDIA UBB PHYSICA - AUTHOR GUIDE

WORD editor will be used for preparing the manuscript using English language.

Title: Calibri, 14, bold, all caps, center, one line before, two lines after.
Authors: Calibri, 12, bold, center, one line after.
Affiliation: Calibri, 9, italics, center, one line after.
One author should be identified as the corresponding author (Calibri 9, italics, center, one line after).

ABSTRACT. A single paragraph, no more than 10-12 lines. Literature citations and figure reference
should not appear in abstract. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. Non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if essential they must be defined at their first mention in the abstract itself.

Keywords: Provide a maximum of 6 keywords. (Calibri, 10, italics, two lines after)

Manuscript should be 1.5 spacing. The manuscript pages should be consecutively
numbered throughout (bottom, right, number first page). [1].
Abbreviations should be defined at first mention and used consistently thereafter [2-4].

Use "Tab" for first line of each paragraph. Tables, Figures, Illustrations, Graphs and
Equations will be inserted at the appropriate points in the text [4].

All figures, tables equations, etc. are to be numbered using Arabic numerals. Figures,
tables, equations, etc. should always be cited in text in consecutive numerical order [5,6].

Fig. 1 Each figure should have a concise caption describing accurately what the figure depicts. Figure captions begin with the term Fig. in bold type, followed by the figure number, also in bold type. Figure parts should be denoted by lowercase letters (a, b, c, etc.). Identify all elements found in the figure. (Calibri , 10 center)
The size of the paper must not exceed 12 pages. Please submit the full text (including figure legends, tables, and references) as an MS Word or RTF file (.doc, .rtf).
Table 1. For each table, please supply a table caption (title) explaining the components of the table. (Calibri , 10 center)

Every table must have headings of all the columns. Identify any previously published
material by giving the original source in the form of a reference at the end of the figures and/or

CONCLUSIONS (Calibri 11, bold, normal text, all caps, align left)
Conclusions may review the main points of the paper, do not replicate the abstract as the
conclusion. A conclusion might elaborate on the importance of the work or suggest applications
and extensions and extensions of the research.

Introductions & Forewords present the main topics of the volume. They are not peer-reviewed, and do not receive doi numbers. They should not exceed 10 pages (in Studia UBB Physica format).
